Holding a ship together was not a part of the job description, but at least she had managed to stop some of the ship, slow it down from the crash course it had been fully intended on. The strain made her weak though as she tried to get it to slow...
Two lone figures started dropping from the ship and as Una was backing off of the buckling and burning structure, she too let off most of it...but still did her best to get it down with minimal damage.
Minimal damage...yeah sure. Just a garden that was now mostly glass and fire...that was plenty minimal.
Leaning onto Julia she shivered, happy to just be walking for once towards the wreckage of what had been their target and just hoping that the two who had hopped out...

Mars?
In the slight weak delirium she was unsure if she recognized the name, at least not right off the top of her head. Maybe that was just the exertion talking...
"Something crashed and something else is on fire...all in a days work..."
Tony wasn't thrilled with Mars grabbing his arm, but he allowed it. Alive was better than burnt to a complete and total crisp. Besides he didn't feel as if he were able to take down Mars. He'd seen the man in action during the war, and knew what he was capable of. That, and his esteem had been shaken by the loss of his eye. Once over confident, and cocky, he was now more reticent.

The guards surrounded the ship, weapons raised ready to keep at bay what, or who ever might be aboard it. From a secret exit within the Palace Stephen emerged, shielding Kasumi as he took in the situation. Weapon drawn he carefully led her down the stairs, keeping her, and something she carried well shielded. His eyes landed on Mars, and they narrowed. He knew his lieutenant could keep things well in hand, while ensured the safety of the Empress.

The cockpit of the ship, still well protected, and seemingly in one piece, flickered in the flames, the shields refracting the heat and flames. When the hatch opened, several of the six men inside aimed what looked to be some kind of weapon out them, yelling in what sounded like rough elvish out the door.
Julia and the rest of the team took to fighting stances, ready for the incoming weapons fire when something unexpected happened. The flames of the ship started gathering into a spiraling column of heat and ash.
Just before hands roughly twice the size of a human's grabbed the cockpit with the men inside, and dragged it into the fires, rupturing the shield, and melting the remaining parts to slag. A great roar came from the inferno, great rocky wings spreading wide. A moment later, a giant of a man creature hide of stone and fire, looking like one of the great magma dragons of old, extinguished the burning fires, leaving naught but soot and warmed stone.
Taking a deep breath, the monster looking humanoid seemed drained, and fell to one knee, his skin seeming to fall off stone by stone, till all that was left was a long haired man, surrounded in the boulders that was once his skin.
Looking to the others, the hunter once known as Paeter Draegon whispered something before falling flat on his face...
"Where....is my...wife...."

A mountain of a dragon was bursting forth from the burning ashes of the ship they had crash landed. She hadn't sensed such a creature and yet, curling into Julia as she tried to keep her balance as she watched the fierce man burst free of his bindings and captors. For it was a man...it simply had to be from the energy that was coming off of him.
People were dead, things were on fire, they had nearly hit the palace with their target...and all she wanted was sleep.
Looking up confused at Julia she waited, wondered...what was the next thing to come at them?

It was dark, that much she knew. How long had she been here? Where was here? Shifting from where she was she tried to discern where she was as a rush of panic flew it's way into her system. She was alone...there was no pull of her son at her side and the edge of her awareness...and there was no resonating heat at her side.
Her throat was dry, and yet her eyes still refused to try and focus into the black, or was it really black?
A blur of memories tried to flash their way through her mind, though the concept of time in them was terribly skewed. Around her eyes she felt a tugging, a tightness and she shut them trying to focus.
Aidan was safe, with what little warning she had been given with Paeter disappearing, safe and sound and as protected as she could manage for him. The book, that was safe too...and she had let herself...

The Empress stood behind her Consort, and head of her guard, and they surveyed the scene before them. It seemed in hand at the moment. Two sets of dark eyes flickered down to the child she was holding, only a few months old really. Their daughter was sleeping soundly against her mother. Stephen turned back, and blinked at what he saw.
"Tony....
She nodded, and rested a hand on his elbow. "Be careful Stephen."
He nodded, and bowed, before turning to dash across the courtyard, skirting the flames, Paeter, and Mars, and came to a stop by his brother.
The twins stared at one another for a long moment, before embracing tightly. Kasumi stood there smiling at the reunion, so glad her husbands brother had finally returned. A soft yawn, and a sudden cry as Umeko woke up, turning several heads.
Most were not aware of Princess Umeko Akutagawa Taylor, and her sudden existence was a complete shock to them all. They'd been told the Empress was ill, but none had thought pregnant. The throne had an heir already! It was cause for celebration, of course.
Tony smiled at his brother. "Married life is treating you well brother." "Very well Tony. We have a lot of catching up to do, and a niece to get to know, but I have work to do now. Can you..." "Go play body guard to them? Yes of course."
Tony was at Kasumi's side within moments, and gave her a quick hug, which also stunned everyone.
